ITL Aviation Continues To Cooperate With Vietnam Airlines Launching Regular Charter Route To Germany
Following the successes in the first quarter of 2021, recently, ITL Aviation (Viet Air Consol - VAC team) has continued to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines to launch another regular Charter route from Hanoi to Frankfurt, Germany (HAN - FRA) with the flight frequency of 1 flight/week in April 2021 and increasing to 2 flights/week starting from May 2021.

In April 2021, the first four Charter flights, departing every Saturday on Vietnam Airlines aircraft with the flight number of VN037, successfully transported more than 160 tons of cargos to Frankfurt, Germany. These are the first flights marking Vietnam Airlines to apply a change in aircraft structure by removing the seats in the passenger cabin, resulting in a 1.5x increase in supply cargo load compared to using aircraft without removing the seats previously.
For regular Charter route HAN - FRA, VAC team consolidates goods at both Noi Bai international airport and Tan Son Nhat international airport, serving the needs to export goods to EU from both ends of the country. In addition, VAC team has also implemented selling freight services from Frankfurt, Germany to other points in EU aiming to expand sales network and serving the needs to export goods by air freight to other points in EU.

With launching new regular Charter route of HAN - FRA, VAC team has increased the total number of Charter flights to 8 flights/week, including:
• 4 flights to Bangkok, Thailand (HAN - BKK)
• 1 flight to Delhi, India (HAN - DEL)
• 1 flight to Moscow, Russia (HAN - SVO)
• 2 flights to Frankfurt, Germany (HAN - FRA)
Expanding the operation market and promoting to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines to enhance regular Charter route to Germany of VAC team has strategic implications for the trade between Vietnam - Germany in particular and EU in general in the early period of 2021, at the same time seizing new opportunities from the EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). This also contributes to solving the difficulties of air freight that the market is facing and enhancing ITL Aviation's position in the air freight market in Vietnam
In the complicated context of the N-covid pandemic, continuing to cooperate closely with Vietnam Airlines to understand and launch the new routes will be able to bring optimized solutions to our customers.
